Apple has been working on a mixed reality headset for a long time which could be introduced sometime in 2023.
According to a Bloomberg report, the price of the Apple headset could be between 2 and 3 thousand dollars, in which the M2 chip will be used.
This chip is used by the company in MacBook Air and MacBook Pro.
The report further stated that this headset will have 10 cameras installed inside and outside and the resolution of the display will be very high.
The device’s operating system is likely to be called RealityOS, which will house Apple’s popular apps like Messages, FaceTime and Maps.
Apple is also hiring people for AR/VR technologies.
In this regard, the company is trying to hire people who can enable the 3D mixed reality world experience.
In the coming years, it will be tried to replace the iPhone.
According to analysts, Apple aims to replace the iPhone with AR in 10 years.
